These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the GID Europe website (the “Site”), operated by GID Industrial (Europe) Ltd. (“GID,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

The Site is intended for business use: learning about our parts sourcing, repair, and supply-chain services, requesting quotes, and contacting our team. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, its security, or the systems that host it;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems;
  • use automated tools to scrape or collect content or data from the Site without our written permission; or
  • submit information that is false, misleading, or unlawful.

Information You Submit

When you submit a quote request, contact form, or support request, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to share it on behalf of your organisation. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Quotes, Pricing, and Orders

Part availability, lead times, pricing, and capabilities described on the Site are provided for general information, may change without notice, and are not a binding offer. Submitting a quote request does not create an order or contract.

All quotations, orders, and sales are governed by GID’s Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are provided with each quotation or order confirmation. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the Terms and Conditions of Sale control.

Product and Repair Warranties

Any warranty on products we supply or repairs we perform is provided only under the applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale or repair terms, not under these Terms.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by GID or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent.

Trademarks and Manufacturer Names

Manufacturer names, brand names, part numbers, and logos shown on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify products. Their use does not mean that GID is affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer.

GID is an independent distributor. Unless we expressly state otherwise, GID is not an authorised distributor or reseller of the manufacturers named on the Site, and the original manufacturer’s warranty may not apply to products we supply.

Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that information on the Site is complete, accurate, or current.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GID will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

This section applies to use of the Site only. Liability relating to products and services we sell is governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GID and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites, and a link does not imply our endorsement.

Export Compliance

Products and technical information referenced on the Site may be subject to export control and sanctions laws, including those of the European Union and Ireland (such as the EU Dual-Use Regulation (EU) 2021/821) and, for items of U.S. origin, the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). You agree to comply with all applicable export, re-export, and sanctions requirements in any transaction with GID. We may decline or cancel any request or order that we believe would violate those laws.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and GID regarding your use of the Site.
