The Sourcing Partner Behind Devices That Have to Keep Working
Medical equipment is built to run for a decade or more, but the boards inside it often aren’t. When a manufacturer discontinues a component your device still depends on, GID’s medical equipment parts supplier team locates the parts standard distributors have dropped, and backs every one with a thorough inspection process.
In Medical Equipment, Downtime Is Never Just Downtime
A device out of service isn’t a line item, it’s a diagnostic delayed, a procedure postponed, a patient waiting. The right part at the right moment is what keeps critical equipment available.
Healthcare Equipment Parts Sourcing and Services for Medical Devices
Sourcing is usually the first call, but rarely the only need. The full GID toolkit is available to keep your devices supplied, running, and compliant.
Industrial Parts Sourcing
Locate hard-to-find, obsolete, and end-of-life components for legacy medical devices through our global network.
Obsolescence Management
Keep long-life devices supported without re-engineering the whole system around one discontinued part.
MRO Procurement
Manage ongoing supply of the legacy parts that standard medical distributors no longer carry.
Industrial Repair Services
Restore failed boards and modules to a dependable, like-new standard when a replacement isn’t available.
Counterfeit Mitigation
Verify authenticity before a component enters equipment where a failure carries patient-safety consequences.
Grey Market Protection
Source outside authorised channels without inheriting the risk: every supplier vetted, every order run through our quality process.
Order Expediting
When a device is down, we activate priority sourcing and can ship next business day at a fair, transparent rate.
Trusted Where Equipment Reliability Isn’t Optional
From device OEMs to hospital biomedical teams, medical organisations rely on GID as their medical equipment parts supplier when a component is critical and a device can’t stay out of service.
Medical Equipment Parts Supplier: FAQs
Straight answers to the questions procurement, biomedical, and engineering teams ask most.
What kinds of medical device components do you supply?
We specialise in the hard-to-find, obsolete, and end-of-life industrial electronics and boards inside medical equipment, the components standard distributors no longer stock. We source parts for the equipment, not consumables or implantable devices. Our experience includes single board computers (SBCs), power supplies, motors & motor control, sensors, pneumatic manifolds, and pneumatic valves used in legacy medical devices. If you’re unsure whether a component qualifies, send us the details.
Can you source medical equipment replacement parts that are discontinued?
Yes. That’s our core strength. Through our global network we locate discontinued medical equipment replacement parts, and where a component is truly gone, our obsolescence management team can qualify a compatible replacement or remanufacture it.
Will a replacement part affect our device’s CE marking or MDR certification?
If we supply the exact original part, no recertification is required and your existing approvals stay intact. A compatible or form-fit-function alternative may require additional review or recertification. Final regulatory responsibility for the device remains with you as the device owner or manufacturer.
How do you make sure a sourced component is authentic?
Every source is vetted and every part quality-checked under our ISO 9001:2015 process. For components going into patient-critical equipment, we can also do functional testing for a subset of products. Thermal testing is available on a project-by-project basis.
Can you handle urgent, device-down situations?
Yes. When a device is out of service, our order expediting service activates priority sourcing and can ship next business day in most cases, at a nominal, transparent fee.
Do you repair medical equipment boards, or only supply parts?
Both. If sourcing a replacement is the fastest route, we source it; if restoring your existing unit makes more sense, our industrial repair services team handles it. One request covers either path.
Are you equipped for medical OEM and enterprise procurement volumes?
Yes. Our customer base ranges from multinational groups to public-sector and defence organisations, and our sourcing and quality processes are built for demanding and high-volume procurement.
